Your Spring Reset

Spring has finally arrived - the blossom is out, the air is fragrant and the world is coming back to life.

Across many cultures, the spring equinox is the moment the New Year actually starts. The light returns, the soil softens and what’s been resting beneath the surface begins to move toward life. Now is the time for new intentions, for planting, for beginning again.

Spring brings a return of energy and a curiosity about what the year might bring. There’s a desire to nurture and cultivate new ideas - an invitation to listen for what is ready to bloom in your own life.

Spring Reflection Prompts

As you read the questions ahead, allow your version of the practice to be easy. You can reflect on the questions all in one sitting or you ask a single question each morning before your day begins and let the answers unfold slowly. You’d be surprised by how much insight just a few minutes of attention can hold.

What Needs Planting?

What seeds are you planting? Get clear on the intentions, ideas or directions that want your attention in the coming season. Ask:

  • What feels alive or energising in my life right now?

  • What ideas or possibilities keep returning to me?

  • What kind of life do I want to be tending in this season?

  • If this season unfolded beautifully, what would be growing by the end of it?

Small seeds, nurtured over time, grow into the garden of our lives.

What Needs Watering?

What are you nurturing with care? Identify what is already meaningful and worthy of more energy and time. Ask:

  • What already feels nourishing or supportive?

  • What relationships or practices deserve more attention?

  • What habits help me feel steady, clear or connected?

  • Where would a little consistent care make a meaningful difference?

These are the places where our attention acts like water. What we water grows.

What Needs Clearing

What needs to be cleared, loosened, released or simplified? Ask:

  • What currently drains my energy or attention?

  • What commitments no longer feel aligned?

  • What expectations am I carrying that could soften or shift?

  • What would create more space in my days?

Sometimes the most supportive change is making space.

One Final Question

Before closing your reflection, ask one last question:

What would bring more ease and spaciousness into this season of my life?

The answer often appears in simple forms:

More rest. More time outdoors. Letting go. More support. More honest conversations. More space between commitments. Making peace with the season of life you are in.
